Natural Bra: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to wash a bra?

Handwashing is often recommended, especially with more delicate bras. Handwashing your bra instead of machine washing it can prolong its life. Fill a clean sink with cool water and a gentle soap. Gently swoosh your bra back and forth in the water (and follow the directions of the soap...) Do not wring it to dry. Instead, gently squeeze it and press it between two towels. Then set it on a flat surface to dry.

If you are going to machine wash your bra, it is best to place it in a lingerie bag. You should also fasten the hooks of the bra so that it does not catch on other clothing. Use cool water and a delicate cycle. Use mild detergent. Air dry the bra.
